Win a year of Study in Australia

The Australian Government has launched a global online competition that will grant one lucky international student a year’s worth of study and educational incentives in Australia in 2014.

The Win Your Future Unlimited competition which will run from 1 October to 18 November 2013 asks students to design and submit digital postcards about their future and show how an Australian education could take them there.

Australian High Commissioner HE Ms Deborah Stokes said, “Win Your Future Unlimited is an opportunity for the winner to benefit from an Australian education that we believe should be life changing and enable personal and professional success.”

“The main prize winner will be announced on 17 December 2013 and will receive one year of study in Australia in 2014, including flights, tuition, accommodation, a stipend and an opportunity for an internship.” she said.

The winner is to be chosen from a shortlist of seven entrants who will be flown to Australia for a two-week study tour during which they will meet with representatives of tertiary institutions from coast to coast.

To enter the competition, visit www.futureunlimited.com.au and complete four steps to create a digital postcard: (1) upload a photo; (2) add illustrations; (3) write 50 words or less describing future aspirations and how an Australian education would help realise them; (4) answer some basic questions, and submit the postcard.

The competition is managed by the Australian Trade Commission and supported by 21 of Australia’s tertiary education and training providers and five gold sponsors: Education Testing Services (ETS), National Australia Bank, Qantas, Telstra, and The University of New South Wales.

Future Unlimited is Australia's brand for the promotion of Australian education internationally that highlights the quality, global outlook, research success and innovation and value of Australia's education institutions.
