The Australian High Commission (AHC), Port Moresby is seeking highly qualified and experienced professionals to fill the following vacancies. These are a security assessed positions. Applicants must be Australian, United Kingdom, Canadian, United States of America or New Zealand Citizens and must be willing to undergo security vetting.

Executive Assistant to the Head of Mission
(Salary PGK101,451 - 115,716)
The Executive Assistant to the Australian High Commissioner (Head of Mission (HOM)), under limited direction, will ensure the efficient and effective running of the HOM office. Duties will include, but are not limited to, coordinating and scheduling meetings, liaising with key stakeholders and arranging travel.

Executive Assistant to the Deputy Head of Mission or Minister Counsellor
(Salary PGK76,196 - 85,263)
The Executive Assistant to the Deputy High Commissioner (Deputy Head of Mission (DHOM)) or Minister Counsellor, under general direction, will manage DHOM or Minister Counsellor’s office and perform administrative support functions. Duties will include, but are not limited to, coordinating and scheduling meetings, liaising with key stakeholders and arranging travel.

Post System Administrator (PSA)
(Salary PGK76,196 - 85,263)
The PSA will be responsible for providing server and system maintenance support to the Australian High Commission, Port Moresby, as well as maintaining the High Commission servers and other communication systems in accordance with current Departmental security policies. The PSA will also provide helpdesk support to High Commission staff and oversee some of the security systems. The PSA will also backfill the Executive Assistant to the Head of Mission and Deputy Head of Mission as required.
